Trash & Treasures

TONY gets a head start on its spring-cleaning with an indoor yard sale.

One man’s trash, another man’s treasure—That’s just the philosophy that Pamela Dollak used when she organized an indoor yard sale at her Old City boutique a year ago. When TONY stopped featuring vintage merchandise in order to make room for the second floor’s “Panty Parlour,” a lot of vintage and second hand goods were left without a home. So, Dollak decided to have a sale.

The result was a weekend-long shopping extravaganza that made the rough economy a bit more bearable. This Saturday and Sunday, Dollak is opening her doors again to vintage lovers and bargain hunters. A vintage connoisseur’s dream, the sale will feature men’s and women’s clothing and accessories from designers like Dior, Versace, Charles Jourdan, Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci. If that doesn’t sound incredible enough, wait until you hear about the prices.

All items, including designer pieces, will be marked as low as 25 cents and will go no higher than $25.  Despite the outstanding designer factor, “you’ll also see a lot of junk,” says Dollak. Yard sale enthusiasts can expect everything from trinkets and rugs to CDs and posters. There is definitely something for everyone at this rain-or-shine shopping event. So take an afternoon to stop by and leave with some amazing treasures.

Saturday, March 27th, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, March 28th, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
