Straight From Your TV to your Hometown of Philly

For all you SYTYCD fans (acronym for So You Think You Can Dance for those of you who are not avid watchers), remember the talented dance crew, the Groovaloos, who lit up the stage with their unique combination of hip-hop and theatrical tricks that made your jaw drop?  Well, your time has now come to see them in person!  This world-renowned street crew from Los Angles is coming to the Merriam Theater with their newest show titled GROOVALOO

 This 14-member troupe of dancers combines explosive high-powered dance moves with heart pumping music so you can feel the “groove” along with them.  Within the show, they incorporate their struggles and stories that they faced, which has now lead them to great success.

All members of this award winning dance group have amazing performance resumes working with artists such as: Michael Jackson, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Missy Elliot, and the Black Eyed Peas, just to name a few.  Not only this, but they preformed on several popular TV shows and appeared in many well-liked dance films including: America’s Best Dance Crew, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Step Up 2, Stomp The Yard, The VMA Awards, and the Grammys.   So check out the Groovaloos from March 9-14 to see why this cast does not just think they can dance, they know they can.
